Ose Okpamen, the Creative director of Hollerose Designs, a Nigerian fashion brand, launched her debut collection, website and its showroom in Lekki in June 2012. She says she's generally inspired by simple silhouettes made with unique detailing, tailoring and structure that make a woman feel powerful and confident in herself.
The collection dubbed LA PRIMA VEZ means 'The First Time' in spanish. Crafted for the modern woman, La Prima Vez is a contemporary
re-interpretation of the classic 40s, 50s and 60s. The intricately hand-made design of each piece in the
collection is inspired by a melange of merging lines, polygonal shapes and patterns, and the emblazoning of sprightly
colours all crafted from polished cotton, chinos, suede and a unique bi-fusion
of cotton/chinos.
Each dress is constructed to salute the urban woman who
understands that sophistication, luxury and influence are a way of life. The
theme of La Prima Vez is power, and it brings to the forefront all that is rich
and pleasant to the eye and mind.
