On Monday January 21, 2013, President Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. At the swearing in ceremony, he spoke on skin colour, believing in America, supporting Asia, Africa and Middle East as well as gay rights.

The 2013 Commander-In-Chief’s Inaugural ball took place at the Washington Convention Center, DC. In his address, President Barack Obama dedicated the evening to Americans and military service members saying, “This whole party is just another way something we can never say enough: thank you.”

Second Dance (First Dance, 2010)

The First Couple danced  to Jennifer Hudson‘s rendition of Al Green‘s “Let’s Stay Together” for their second dance. The soulful Reverend  al Green from Arkansas released a statement to The Associated Press, explaining that he was invited to sing the song but had a prior commitment.
